I extend a warm welcome to all students to the beautiful campus of Indrayani Vidya Mandir (IVM). IVM is situated in the historical city of Talegaon Dabhade in Maval Tahsil of Pune district. This city has witnessed establishment of Navin Samarth Vidyalaya & Paisa Fund Glass Factory at the auspicious hands of Lokmanya Tilak. This can be cited as the pavement of industrial & cooperative movement in Talegaon. Now Talegaon is recognized for its rapid industrial development & educational institutions.

IVM came into existence by the initiative taken by eminent personalities like Acharya P. K. Atre, Dr. M. M. Altekar, & others. IVM has been blessed with towering personalities like Prof. Ramkrishna More, Balasaheb Kibe, Dadasaheb Dhore, Balashaheb Barmukh, Dr. G. S. Mahajani (former Vice Chancellor of Pune, Rajasthan, Delhi University), Balasaheb Desai (Former finance Minister of Maharashtra State), Vasantrao Vaidya, R. T. Doshi and many more. Under their guidance Indrayani Mahavidyalaya was established as a pioneer education institute in Maval Region.

We are proud to tell you that, Indrayani Mahavidyalaya is imparting quality education. It has earned a good name as excellent educational institute in Arts, Science & Commerce. The mission of IVM is to provide education to the students from socially & economically backward sectors of society, especially girl students, and to equip them with knowledge & skills to face the competitive world and thus make them self-reliant. We are striving for all sided development of our students. We not only ensure academic development of the students but also provide them with opportunities to prove themselves in extracurricular and co-curricular activities. IVM is known for producing outstanding students who take on different careers, as per their academic merit, successfully in the society.

Indrayani recently celebrated its golden jubilee year, observing that there was no Pharmacy college in the fast-developing city of Talegaon Dabhade, the management of IVM started D. Pharmacy College in Talegaon Dabhade. In a short span our Pharmacy institutes have earned a good name. I, in the capacity of President of Indrayani Vidya Mandir, on behalf of all Governing Council members, welcome all aspiring students to the Pharmacy institute of IVM & wish you all the best for your future.
